ICC has done it again. ICC has punished Sehwag for excessive appealing in the 1st test against WI, with 20% of his match fees. Nice example of discipline. But what happened to Lara. Fair enough, Sehwag made a mistake so he got punished, but Lara going clean with such kind of irresponsible behaviour, and that too when he is a Captain. He not only showed dissent, he insulted the umpire by snatching the ball from his hand. He showed himself bigger than the umpire and proved that the age old saying "umpire's decision is last" is no more believed. And ICC by not punishing him has stamped its approval for this. They have by no means become liberal, this they showed by punishing Sehwag. This is what you call as dictatorship. AND I WILL STRESS MY WORDS THAT "INDIANS ARE THE BEST BEHAVED PLAYERS AMONG ALL THE CRICKET PLAYING NATIONS". Opposite behaviours of Dravid and Lara proved this. Dravid infact dissolved the issue which could have grown bigger. Thats a mark of a true sportsman, and thats what Indians are. And thats why I love to be an Indian. Guys how long we are going to keep quiet. Media should support us. This double standard of ICC should be made a big issue. Indian cricket board gives the maximum revenue to ICC, still such things happen? This is the time we should show them our strength. All suggestions are welcome.
